Terms of Service

Effective 2026-06-05 · v1.0 (Draft)

These Terms govern the use of the Sooddang Service provided by LINKSUP Co., Ltd. (“the Company”). The Service is for business-to-business (B2B) use only and is not directed at consumers.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users (suppliers and buyers) in connection with use of the Sooddang Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • “Service” means the global B2B seafood marketplace (sooddang.com) operated by the Company.
  • “Supplier” means a domestic or overseas business that registers company, product, and certification information.
  • “Buyer” means a business that searches, views supplier information, and submits inquiries or RFQs.
  • “Content” means all information registered by users, including company, product, certification, inquiry, and message data.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen. The Company may amend the Terms within the bounds of applicable law and will give prior notice stating the effective date and reasons for change.

Article 4 (Nature of the Service)

The Service is an intermediary platform that lets suppliers register their company, product, and certification information and lets buyers search, view, and directly contact suppliers or request quotes. The Service is intended for B2B transactions and is not directed at general consumers.

Article 5 (Registration and Accounts)

Users must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for managing their account and authentication credentials. Users must not impersonate others or register false information.

Article 6 (Status of the Platform — Not a Party to Transactions)

The Company merely intermediates and connects suppliers and buyers and is NOT a party to any resulting transaction. The terms, conclusion, performance, payment, delivery, quality, and disputes of a transaction are solely the responsibility of the supplier and buyer, and the Company makes no warranty and bears no liability in this regard.

The Company does not warrant information registered by suppliers or the content of buyer inquiries, and is under no obligation to intervene in disputes between users.

Article 7 (Supplier Obligations and Accuracy of Listings)

The supplier is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and timeliness of the company, product, and certification information it registers. The Company does not warrant the authenticity or quality of listings, and liability arising from false, exaggerated, or unlawful information rests with the supplier that registered it.

Article 8 (Meaning and Limits of the “Verified” Badge)

The “Verified” badge denotes only the Company’s formal, procedural confirmation of documents submitted by a supplier. It does NOT warrant the quality, authenticity, suitability for trade, or validity of certifications of the supplier or its products. Buyers must conduct their own due diligence before transacting.

Article 9 (Notice on AI Automatic Translation)

The Service provides automatic multilingual translation of content. Machine translations are for reference only and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Where a translation conflicts with the original, the original text registered by the supplier prevails, and the Company is not liable for the accuracy of automatic translation.

Article 10 (Content and License)

Intellectual property rights in Content registered by users remain with those users. However, users grant the Company a free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, translate, and transmit such Content for operating, publishing, exposing, translating, and surfacing it in search (including integrated search such as SEACHING).

Article 11 (No Payment Processing)

At its current stage, the Service does not provide payment processing and supports only the recording of transaction status. Actual payment is made separately between users; payment features may be introduced in phases in the future.

Article 12 (Prohibited Conduct)

  • Registering false or exaggerated information or information that infringes the rights of others
  • Spam, automated mass inquiries, or other conduct that disrupts the normal operation of the Service
  • Conduct that violates applicable law or these Terms
  • Unauthorized collection, reproduction, or distribution of Service data

Article 13 (Suspension/Termination and Service Changes)

Where a user registers false information, sends spam, or violates law or these Terms, the Company may, after prior notice (or subsequent notice in urgent cases), make Content private or suspend/terminate the account. The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, with prior notice.

Article 14 (Limitation of Liability)

The Company is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, such as force majeure or third-party service outages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms and any dispute relating to use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction of first instance.

Addendum

These Terms take effect on 2026-06-05.
